Another Ruling Political Group Deliver Firms
Poder Ciudadano (Citizen Power), a ruling movement, today announced a re-registration application to the National Electoral Council (CNE for its spanish acronym).
The movement, led by the former Minister of Economic Policy Coordination and former chairman of the Central Bank board of the regime, Diego Borja, introduced 403,000 signatures of accessions, more than 1,200 promoters and 700 permanent adhesives.
Dozens of supporters of the party gave the accessions to the CNE president, Domingo Paredes.
Borja, current member of the New Financial Architecture Committee ensures that the signatures were collected by citizen brigades in 16 provinces, especially in Pichincha, Guayas and Manabi, without needing support from any public or private institution.
The CNE has so far six qualified political organizations (MPD, PAIS, PRE, SP, CREO, PK) to participate in the upcoming elections. (MZ)
