PSP announces talks about possible vicepresident

Pre presidential candidate Lucio Gutierrez of Sociedad Patriotica political party announced that Sonia Roca de Castro will be the vice president in his campaign for the upcoming elections.

The former president referred to the regime of Correa with terms such as “dictocrat” and “outlaws”. On May 2012 he decided to resign to the possibility of being a presidential candidate. The decision came due to the lack of national unity and the search for one candidate in what he used the Twitter hashtag #OposicionTrucha.

Sonia Roca is the Chancellor of the Universidad del Pacifico, a specialized attorney in maritime law. The newly chosen vice president of Sociedad Patriotica assured that she would dismiss the new law of education. AV
