The TRI travels to Montevideo and prepares to face Uruguay

This morning, the Ecuadorian soccer team traveled to Montevideo, where they will meet with the Uruguayan team on Tuesday  September 11th.

The TRI will be led on offense by striker Christian Benitez, after a one-game suspension for accumulating two yellow cards.

Moreover, Jefferson Montero was ruled out due to a muscle injury in his left leg suffered in the match against Bolivia on Friday.

“Hopefully Ecuador is an orderly and intelligent selection when defense and counterattack,” said Ecuador coach Reinaldo Rueda.
