Penal Judge Began Trial Against Supervisors of Fabricio Correa for False Testimonies

The Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa named the supervisors Pablo Chambers, Gerardo Portilla, Jose Quishpe and Victor Hugo Hidalgo so they integrate the commission that was supposed to investigate the contracts that Fabricio Correo with State.

The supervisors concluded by the end of the investigation that the President Rafael Correa knew about the contracts of his brother Fabricio. Hence President Correa accused them of false testimonies.

Meanwhile the Penal Judge, Ana Cristina Guerron gave only cautionary measures. One of the supervisors confirmed that they already have political asylum in France and Sweden in case that a condemning sentence is dictated. AV
