During last Tuesday debates in the 67th UN General Assembly the world leaders were called to take action by the General Secretary of the UN, Ban Ki-moon, to help end the crisis in Syria and to finish the crimes committed against the human rights in that country.
“The situation in Syria gets worse by the day. Its not only limited to Syria, but now it’s a regional calamity with global ramifications,” warned Ki-moon. The secretary pointed out that importance to stop the crimes in Syria by saying, “that it’s the duty of our generation.”
The general secretary also informed that the Middle East focus the priorities of the entity, aside from the war in Syria, because they must avoid at all cost another confrontation between Israel and Iran, which would simply be devastating. AV
