Juan Manuel Santos recovers remarkably after surgery

After a successful surgery to which the Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos submitted himself to get rid of a cancer. The leader continues under the watch of the hospital on this Thursday.

Santos has maintained its presidential functions thanks to the technology, during his recovery he has made use of a BlackBerry, an iPad, a computer and telephones to stay on top of what happens in the country. Last Wednesday the Colombian president came out of the surgery with success, where a cancerous tumour was removed after being detected on time. That same Wednesday he renewed his presidential activities.

“There has been a remarkable evolution, from what was expected. He has tolerated oral feeding, he is moving and attending his personal and family business,” assured Dr. Felipe Gomez, the specialist that operated Santos. AV
