The Ministry of Justice brought together the musical groups of the prison centers of Cuenca, Guayaquil (Fuzion R8) and Latacunga (Inclusion) so that the talent of its members can be appreciated.
Manuel, 47, is a member of the ‘Libertad y Punto’ band – formed since 2009 in El Turi prison. He is an accordion fan since the age of 11, which he not only plays but also “caresses and seduces” to give birth to his creativity.
This intern joined the music group three years ago. The man has been blind for 24 years and is serving a sentence for rape. Despite his situation, he decided to get ahead and make his time more productive. “Music is the best way to forgive time.” (I).
