2 000 students will participate in the second phase of “my first job”

About two thousand college students between 18 and 19 years old will participate in the second phase of the program “Mi primer trabajo” promoted by the Ministry of Labour Relations.
Students of public and private Ecuadorian universities will be placed and evaluated in state enterprises to carry out their internships, that this time will be paid $ 500 for a six months period.
To access the program it is necessary to enter the website of the Ministry of Labour Relations and enroll in the data base. One of the requirements is having non previous work experience so that students can be reintegrated into the workforce after their paid internship.
