285,000 Ecuadorians are eligible for voting abroad
A total of 136,092 Ecuadorians living in Spain (47.62% of migrants with optional voting) may vote in the elections tomorrow. They, along with another 149,661 migrants living in other countries, total 285,753 registered abroad.
In Spain 19 polling centers will be enabled with 287 polling stations.
To vote in Spain, voters must present a document certifying Ecuadorian identity (identity card or passport).
From north to south and from east to west, the Spanish cities where Ecuadorians may exercise their right to vote are: Pamplona, Barcelona, Tarrasa, Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Huelva, Seville, Granada, Malaga, Marbella, Almeria, Vera, Murcia, Lorca, Jumilla and Cartagena.
Some 11.6 million Ecuadorians are invited to choose their next president and vice president, 137 legislators in the National Assembly and five representatives to the Andean Parliament.
