Posted On 28 Nov 2010

The national police colonel, Fausto Iñiguez, reported that 941 residents of different country areas were arrested for violating the decree of immobility and alcohol prohibition during the Population and Housing Census.

“So far there haven’t had security problems reported by students, thanks to the intervention of a military institution, we were able to safeguard students,” said the delegate of the Military Forces Joint Command Chief, Col. Omar Carpio.

According to police reports, some students had health problems but they received medical attention immediately and even, depending on the case, some of them were taken home.
