Correa was Declared ‘Unwelcome Person’ in Union City

Brian Stack, the Mayor of Union City, New Jersey declared the Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa as an unwelcome person. Since the Ecuadorian leader is strongly associated with the leaders of Cuba and Venezuela, Hugo Chavez along with Fidel and Raul Castro as well as the sworn enemy of the United States Mahmud Ahmadineyad the president of Iran.
Mayor Stack pointed out that several local Latin American organizations expressed their rejection towards the visit of Correa. During a press conference the Mayor of Union City removed the invitation to the Ecuadorian leader. Correa was scheduled to attend a conference in a public institute of New Jersey.
