Father of gunned down in Ferguson calls day of silence

The father of the African-American of 18 years old who died after being shot by a white police in Ferguson, urged on Sunday, August 24, to save a “day of silence” while his son is buried on Monday.
“Tomorrow all I want is peace,” said Mr. Michael Brown to hundreds of people in the biggest park of the city of San Luis after making brief comments in a festival that promotes peace over violence . “That’s all I ask.”
The more than two weeks since the death of Michael Brown have been marked by nightly protests, some of them violent and chaotic, while tensions have ceased in recent days.
