Accused of the CNE Scandal Sold Signatures to EQUIPO

Domingo Paredes, president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), has denounced since Saturday, August 25, 2012, that there were people that tried to manipulate the system of verification of signatures.
In the previous days, Paredes assured that there already detained two of the people involved in the sale of registration signatures of Ecuadorian movements and political parties.
Apparently the accused of CNE, sold each signature in 0,15 cents to EQUIPO, the political party of Fabricio Correa. Now the Ecuadorian authorities started an investigation about an illicit act, and the apprehended have started to reveal information to find a solution to this problem. AV
