Posted On 19 Jun 2012
Last night the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad started his tour through Latin America, which will take him to Bolivia, Brazil, and Venezuela. Today Ahmadineyad has a scheduled meeting in La Paz with his counterpart Evo Morales.
Ahmadinejad pointed out that his visit to Bolivia is in response to the visit that Morales did in Iran during 2010, when both countries reached “valuable agreements,” with the purpose of defining the strategies for the development of their nations.
After leaving Bolivia, Ahmadinejad will attend the UN Conference about Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro. There he plans to create a new world organization to coordinate and organize commercial and environmental relations between the countries. (AV)
