The National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) has completed the signature verification process of the Alianza Pais movement with a total of 826,812 signatures validated from a total of 1’534.000 rubrics presented.
The verification process is accomplished in the Quito Exhibition Center attended by 17 observers and 25 foreign graphics technicians, in addition to the nearly 800 managers in verifying signatures.
Popular Democratic Movement (Movimiento Popular Democrático) and Ecuadorian Roldosista Party (Partido Roldosista Ecuatoriano) do not meet the required number of signatures and will have until September 24 to complete the requirement. (MZ)
