An Ecuadorian Film will Debut Today in New York

“Rabía,” film from the Ecuadorian director Sebastian Cordero, which has been acclaimed at festivals in Tokyo, Malaga, and Guadalajara, and has also won over 15 international awards, will debute in the New York theaters today.
Produced by Guillermo del Toro and based on the novel of the Argentine Sergio Bizzio, “Rabía” presents the story of two Latin-American immigrants who fall in love in Spain and embark on a passionate affair with a background of immigration, aggressiveness, motherhood, family, and alcohol.
