Assemblyman Andres Paez (CREO), announces that the protests against tax reforms promoted by the national government will be activated through a public network that hopes to convene 70 cities in order to avoid further increases in taxes.
On the purpose of the protests, Paez said, “These seek to curb the tax package and insist the government to take austerity measures, and to take into account the suggestions of eliminating the secretariat of the policy, the Ministry of Good Living, the Ministry of equality, the Ecuadorian Space Agency, the sale of 19 state media, and the sale of aircraft in which Rafael Correa roams the world, with this, the deficit will be covered.” (I).
