This decision would have been taken after knowing that she has a 50% risk of developing ovarian cancer, since she is carrier of BRCA1, which drastically increases the risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer.
Apparently, after having a double mastectomy, the American actress has not experienced any complications. “She is well,” said a spokesman of Jolie to the magazine.
