Argentina officializes departure of ambassador Luis Juez in Ecuador
Ecuadornews:
The Government of Argentina made official the departure of Luis Juez as ambassador in Ecuador. The president of that country, Mauricio Macri, issued Executive Decree 1118/2017 to transfer the diplomat to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship.
The official document also has the signature of Foreign Minister Jorge Marcelo Faurie. This Tuesday, January 2, was published in the Official Registry of Argentina. Juez left his representation in Ecuador at the request of the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry, after he referred in derogatory terms to Ecuadorians.
The former ambassador described as “filthy” those born in this country. Although he offered an apology, the Cordovan decided to retire from his position. It is still unknown who will be his replacement in Ecuador. (I)
