Argentina’s President Presented Rag Doll of Herself

Argentina’s President Cristina Fernandez, presented on Monday ‘Cristinita‘, a rag doll made in his image and likeness and sold in a museum that is part of the Casa Rosada, seat of the executive.
“It lacks the broom!,” said the legal and technical secretary of the presidency of Argentina, Carlos Zanini, seeing the doll, as revealed by the president jokingly.
In a ceremony at the seat of government, Fernandez said there are also toys with the figures of her husband, the late Argentine president Nestor Kirchner and the presidents of Uruguay, Jose Mujica, and Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez.
The dolls are also sold online at about 11 euros per unit. (FL)
