Attorney General asked hearing against Pedro Delgado at National Court

Within the hours the Attorney General’s Office will ask the National Court of Justice (CNJ) to set a day and time for a hearing in order to present all conviction evidence against Pedro Delgado, former president of the Central Bank of Ecuador, who, last December 2012 acknowledged that he is not an economist and used a false title to perform its functions.
These lawsuits follow the demand made by Assembly member Enrique Herrería, who accused him of ideological falsehood. Although the Attorney General, Galo Chiriboga, declined to say what type of diligence he will request to the Court, the appropriate thing to do, legally speaking, is to call an indictment hearing.
It should be noted that yesterday Chiriboga presented ten papers delivered by the Special Unit for Fraud of the Public Ministry of Costa Rica, obtained legally by the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE
