Attorney General´s office of Ecuador: there are “many more people” involved in Argentine girls murder case
Attorney General of Ecuador Galo Chiriboga said today that there are “many more” suspects involved in the case of two young Argentine women killed in February, besides the two defendants who are in pretrial detention in connection with the double murder.
“We have evidence that prove them guilty but we also have evidence that there were many more people involved in this,” Chiriboga said in an interview on the Public Radio of Ecuador, where he admitted that members of the Attorney´office are not “very happy with the findings” in the investigations.
“We’re going to submitt everything we have against those people we presume might be involved, but that according to the Attorney´office are not the only ones,” he said, adding that surely the Public Ministry will open another investigation into these events.
