Bank of America Stops Handling Payments for WikiLeaks

Posted On 18 Dec 2010

Today the Bank of America announced they will cease the process for the Web Site WikiLeaks. The site could be involved in activities that contradict the internal norms for payments.

The credit card MasterCard, along with the pay services of PayPal have already suspended their financial connections with WikiLeaks. However the infamous internet site asked via Twitter to its followers that they cease treating with the bank. Meanwhile the spokesman of Bank of America, Scott Silvestri, denied any more declarations to the Associated Press.

On Friday, Julian Assange said on an interview that his organization would soon reveal information of several Banks on which there are unethical practices.
