Betty Tola’s Resignation was Approved

This morning the president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, accepted the resignation of the minister of the Policy and Decentralized Autonomous Governments, Betty Tola.
Legal Secretary of the Presidency, Alexis Mera, reported the decision taken by the president. He added that the resignation was given due personal reasons.
Instead, the president has appointed Jose Serrano Salgado to fill the position left by Tola. Serrano previously led the Home Office. MZ
