Bolivia Prosecutor Office Investigates Media Case

Susana Rodriguez, district attorney of the media case of the Bolivian government demand, stated that the television media of Unitel, ATB and state Bolivia Tv deliver the audiovisual material of the speech the Bolivian President Evo Morales of August 15 while he was in the locality of Tiwanaku.

The judicial authority sent another requirement to ANF, so that the news agency identifies to his “legal representative and or those responsible and the editors of the article published on August 15.”

Meanwhile Jose Gramunt de Moragas director of ANF declared himself as the only ‘legal responsible’ of the article that caused the government demand. The director of Pagina Siete, Raul Peñaranda Undurraga, also maintained that same stance.

The former defender of the People Waldo Albarracin confirmed that Gramunt de Moragas cannot dismiss the competition of the case ordinance. Albarracin added that the legal representative of the ANF Director could request a decline of a jury process. AV
