The Andean Community of Nations (CAN) has ratified the suspension of Colombia safeguards. This measure affects agricultural products since 2013.
“CAN ratified the Resolution 1647, which suspends safeguards applied by Colombia to imports from member countries of the community”, said the entity.
In October 2013, through a decree and for a period of two years, Colombia established safeguards to products such as onions, beans, milk, tomato, pea, potato, pear and cheese.
