Capriles: “We will win these elections, do not let yourselves be provoked”
With the promise that he will win the elections and the recommendation to the people to not let themselves be provoked, the opposition candidate Henrique Capriles, ended his campaign yesterday in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state, just three days before the presidential elections in Venezuela.
After a tour among the people, the opposition leader took the stage just after 18h00. Before his speech, the governor of Lara and chief of the Simon Bolivar Command, Henri Falcon, made a speech calling for unity.
“We come here to ask God, to enlighten the way for Henrique Capriles so he can lead the fate of this country,” he said.
In response, Capriles, with tears on his face, thanked “infinitely” Lara’s people for their massive attendance to the event. “Such a hopeful crusade! Can you see now that is has been worthy? It’s always worthy to fight for the future and for the peace of our people, ” said in front of thousands of people gathered in the city of Lara.

He decreed that on Monday, April 15, there will be a new Venezuela. “All of us, let’s embrace the hope.” Capriles also said that he is not seeking a position, but to transform the country. “Build the Venezuela we dream off. I’m here to become the engine, along with you, the solution to the problems of our people.”
Finally, Capriles called on Venezuelans and told them to not let themselves be provoked. “We will win the elections on Sunday. The other candidate is a fraud, he has collapsed over the truth that runs the streets of Venezuela,” he said, referring to his main opponent, the candidate and President in charge Nicolas Maduro.
