Carrion Expects New Provisions of the General Command

Posted On 16 May 2011

Seven months after being arrested for alleged assassination against Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa, former director of the Police Hospital, Col. Cesar Carrion, was called to present himself today at the General Command of the institution to wait for new work arrangements by their superior.

After leaving the prison García Moreno, Carrion announced he would not give public statements, because that is still on active duty. It is unknown whether he will be ratified at the office or transferred to another office.

In last Saturday’s broadcast, President Rafael Correa, César Carrión asked to undergo a polygraph test to show that he never wanted to undermine the president’s life. “Let’s make Colonel Carrion to undergo trough a detector and say he had nothing to do with September 30.” Carrion’s wife, Janeth Orbe said the best polygraph or lie detector is the Ecuadorean people.
