The doctor in charge of program participants Survivors reality, French version, committed suicide on Monday after the sudden death of a contestant who was treated by him.
The TF1 television reported that Dr. Thierry Costa, 38, committed suicide at the location of the program on an island in Cambodia. Costa blamed the press to damage his professional reputation in a suicide note handwritten TF1 posted on its website.
It is the second death in two weeks in the stellar program. The first tragedy was the death of Gerald Babin, a contestant of 25, who died during the first day of filming of the 2013 contest on 22 March.
According to TF1, Babin was with Costa to be attended by some mysterious cramps during the first challenge had tropical season, but died shortly afterwards in hospital after a heart attack.
