Companies have foreign debt by $ 7.061 million
This was revealed by official figures of the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE). From January to August this year, the final balance of their commitments totaled 7.011 million dollars, of that total debt, $ 3,510 million were fresh loans.
According to the Central Bank the same month in 2014, they had achieved new 3.131 million dollars. Refinanced loans, however, declined slightly, from 630 million to 624 million.
The capital payment decreased. For the 2014 period, private companies honored 2.809 million dollars in amortizations; while this year, much less: 2,596,000. Last year, companies operating in Ecuador paid 796 million for interest; this period, the value rose to 959 million.
