Complaints about service provided by the Rural Social Security in Guayas

Delegations of affiliates of the Rural Social Security of Guayas yesterday morning made a sit-in outside the Social security offices, in downtown, to complain about the absence of doctors and medicines in health centers in rural areas such as Nobol, Daule, Salitre, and other counties.

July Barzola, leader of the Federation of Affiliates of the Peasant Social Security, said they sent letters to the Provincial Directorate of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) demanding medical care, not only from nursing assistants.
