Correa stresses achievements of his current government
President Rafael Correa, during his speech yesterday at Harvard University, spoke about freedom, justice and equality as part of the social policy of his government.
Ecuador is aimed to eliminate inequality in society through government action, adduced the president during the conference `The Ecuadorian dream.´
`The definitions of freedom and justice vary according to the place where they are contemplated, and to the 164 million people in Latin America living in poverty, there is no justice or freedom or real democracy,´ said the head of State.
In addition, Correa emphasized the achievements of his government in areas as health, education, inclusion of people with disabilities, and the reduction of the external debt.
`These achievements are known as the ‘Ecuadorian miracle’ and the most obvious result has been political stability.´
