Cuba Will Receive Pope Benedicto XVI

The Cuban government reiterated their satisfaction over the visit of Pope Benedict XVI. This Monday, December 13, the Cuban ambassador, Eduardo Delgado informed that the Pope “will be received with all the respect and love he deserves.”
Bendict XVI personally informed that he will visit Mexico and Cuba before the next Holy Week. Sources in the Vatican informed that the Pope could be travelling on March 23 and 28 since the Holy Week starts on April 1.
The visit of the Pope coincides with the 400 anniversary of the apparition of the image of ‘Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre’ the patron saint of the nation. (AV)
