Daughter of Correa describes as “sexist” old statement of her father
Ecuadornews:

The daughter of former President Rafael Correa, Anne Dominique Correa, has criticized as sexist an old statement from her father, apparently without knowing to whom it belonged, and that it was contained in a tweet that did not mention it.
Anne Dominique has described as “sexism in its maximum expression” the already famous expression of Correa when he said in a “sabatina” “I do not know if gender equality improves democracy, what is certain is that the party has improved impressively …I’ve been told by, impressive legs and miniskirts.”
“Women and men, we can no longer tolerate this mentality. But we will never progress, “added the girl.
Correa said that phrase on the first “sabatina” of January 2012, commenting on the end of the year dinner with his collaborators. The phrase was reproduced, without citing its author, on August 10, 2018, by the Twitter user @ EmilioHuzky, as a sarcasm response, to a tweet from the former Minister of Culture, Guillaume Long, who had assured that “the great transformations in Latin America will be feminist or they will not be”.
The tweet of @ Emilio Huzky (who is from Quito and describes himself as a libertarian) was answered by Anne Dominique on August 12.
Anne Dominique Correa is the second daughter of the former president; she studied at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris. According to her father, she is currently doing internships in Switzerland. In June she suffered a traffic accident for which she had to undergo surgery twice. (I)
