Defendants request that Rafael Correa reconciles the case of land

The manager of Urbanizadora del Salado SA (Urdesa), Rodrigo Icaza, and the owner of the Repartecsa company, Victor Paredes, called for the intervention of President Rafael Correa in the dispute over a piece of land claimed by Tourism Minister Fernando Alvarado.
“We request you to dialogue with your partner in order to respect our rights and thus avoid an international dispute arising from a more personal than legal situation,” points out the letter signed by Ycaza and Paredes and received by Francisco Latorre, advisor to the President.
