Defense Ministers of Ecuador and Chile will analyze Armed Forces cooperation

Defense Ministers of Ecuador, Maria Fernanda Espinosa and Chile, Jorge Burgos, will meet tomorrow in Quito to analyze and strengthen bilateral defense agreements.
Burgos, who will remain in Ecuador until May 25, arrived on Thursday night to Quito to check the status of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries, reported the Ministry.
In addition, the Chilean Minister will attend a ceremony for the anniversary of the Pichincha Battle and the day of the Armed Forces.
One of the key aspects of the reciprocal work between Chile and Ecuador on defense is the strengthening and exchange of capacitation, training, specialization and refinement of the Armed Forces.
