Demi Lovato comes back with a personal, power ballad

The Disney singer-actress, Demi Lovato, presented today worldwide her premiere video for her hit single “Skyscraper”, a very personal tune that shows that although she has passed trough dark moments in her life, she struggles every day to rise higher than ever; “like a skyscraper”.

In an interview with host Ryan Seacrest, Demi said she did not want this video to be all about makeup and hair, like so many others these days. Instead, she wanted to convey the song’s message as honest as possible.

In this interview, the young singer spoke about her time in rehab and the difficult moments she passed trough in order to overcome her illness during this time. She revealed that recording the song was an extremely emotional and cathartic experience for her.
