Dhruv case investigation in the Assembly remains without deadlines
The Commission on Sovereignty and International Relations took cognizance of the resolution of the Council on Legislative Administration (CAL) on the case of Dhruv helicopters.
The chairman of the board, Fernando Bustamante, announced that they will explore only the purchase contract signed with India’s HAL, and the four accidents. The case was excluded on the death of former commander of the Air Force, Jorge Gabela. “If someone knows something irregular not know the righteousness that may run to give the information to the prosecutor,” said Bustamante Pachakutik legislator and member of the Commission, Milton Gualán.
The Commission deadlines for these investigations are not set. “Let seeing how the study progresses. We do not want a straitjacket,” he said. Along the way, the assembly will discuss who to call.
