Diego Oquendo is called to the Supercom by “media lynching”
Radio journalist, Diego Oquendo, was summoned today to the Supercom, at 10:30 am, for the supporting audience of an allegued “media lynching”.
Oquendo was denounced before the Superintendency of Communication (Supercom) by Sandra Correa, former Minister of Education in the government of Abdala Bucaram.
The incident would have risen during an interview with the director of the Association of Newspaper Editors, Diego Cornejo, and Jurist Ramiro Garcia, where the case of the School Backpacks was reminded, for which she was sentenced by the then Supreme Court justice.
At the hearing, both parties shall submit evidence and documents that contribute to the case.
Regarding the case, Superintendent Carlos Ochoa reported on Friday he could not confirm his presence yet because he did not know his agenda for this Monday.
