Ecuador seeks professors in Spain for new teachers college
This morning the Government of Ecuador premiered in Madrid a program called “International Plan of Recruitment and Selection of Educators,” which aims to introduce Spanish teaching professionals as teachers within the newly created National University of Education (UNAE) to cover part of the 500 new places of employment in the institution.
“What we want is to improve our level of education with the support of other countries,” said Miriam Aguirre, Secretary of Education Professional Development.
The wage rates provided for in the program range between $ 2,226 and $ 5,009, plus an additional bonus of between $ 400 and $ 700 to cover housing, plus food and transportation bonds.
Nominations for the jobs will be accepted until August 1. The selection process will conclude in October and hiring will take place at the end of the year. In December the elected will participate in an induction process and in January they will begin working on the UNAE.
