Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey together in `Open Windows´

Open Windows, the new thriller by Nacho Vigalondo, has as its protagonists Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey, both marked by a past in the entertainment industry. Grey is a former porn actress who has filmed around 270 porn movies from 18 to 21 years old,  and Wood, the child prodigy of Hollywood, is best known for his role as Frodo, in the saga of the Lord of the Rings.

About that undeniable past, Grey, who reinvented her career five years ago, told EFE: “It is true that we share that constant reminder on something we did in the past. In my case I am happy to have done it and I do not regret anything. I will not say that made ​​me who I am, because it’s not true, but it is what allowed me to build a fan base and be here now. ”

Wood, far from exploiting the fame the films of Peter Jackson gave him, has chosen to work in independent films. `Open Windows´ is about a fan who won a dinner with his favorite actress, but then discovers that both his life and hers are in danger.
