Elton John Welcomed a Son On Christmas

Elton John and husband David Furnish welcomed their son Zachary into the world via a surrogate on Christmas Day.

The baby’s name is Zachary. He was born in California weighing seven pounds, 15 ounces, according to US magazine.

“We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment,” the couple announced in a statement. “Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents,” said the singer and his couple David Furnish, 48, to the magazine.

John and Furnish got married in December 2005 in England, according the new British law on same sex marriages.
