EP Petroecuador will obtain a certification of the anti-bribery management system

EP Petroecuador will be the first public company to obtain the certification of the anti-bribery management system. The company promotes the fight against corruption and bribery and a Unit for the Prevention and Control of Money Laundering, created through an institutional support agreement with the UAFE since 2001.

EP Petroecuador will obtain a certification of the anti-bribery management system

The objective is to collaborate in the actions for the identification, control, monitoring, detection, investigation and correction of facts or events of corruption and bribery .

In this context, Petroecuador today began the ISO 37001 certification process for this system. In its initial stage it is aimed at contracting and purchasing processes at the national level. It also allows to effectively prevent, detect and combat bribery, with a culture of integrity , transparency and compliance with ethical principles.

This anti-bribery policy was established in the public company since December 2019, to strengthen its commitment to executing internal and external business activities in a transparent , ethical and responsible manner. (I)
