Syrian warplanes bombed Damascus suburbs

Today Syrian warplanes bombed areas captured by rebels near Damascus. Meanwhile the forces of Bashar al-Assad™s regime are battling the fighters of the opposition to regain control of a strategic road that links the capital to the main airport.

The Local Coordination Committees, an opposition group, said 21 people were killed today, including 14 victims who perished in the suburbs of Damascus after the bombings.

These reports cannot be verified because the Western media have been banned in Syria.
