Esmeraldas opens new air terminal

The president Rafael Correa, yesterday morning inaugurated the new airport Colonel Carlos Concha Torres at Esmeraldas.
Local authorities and members of Alianza País received Correa. During his visit, he toured the facilities of the work platform as aircraft parking, and the Department of aerial operations in the control tower.
The work is designed to be enlarged and its built had a cost of $ 19 million. The president added that “this terminal is all set to be expanded to second floor, and the design was conceived for that.”
Likewise, Correa said that the new terminal is international category for being border and which will soon be enabled for night flights. An estimated 250,000 passengers use this terminal on 2014.
