Estéfano Palacios, proud that game is already on Play Station
Ecuadornews:

That the virtual game To leave, developed by young Ecuadorians, has reached the Play Station platform opens possibilities for foreign investment, says Estefano Palacios, a 28-year-old polytechnic student and president of Freaky Creations, a company that created this entertainment option.
“The moment we manage to touch base with the international platform lends itself to talk to investors from Los Angeles and other parts of the world who want to inject capital,” says Estéfano, who with his friend, partner and classmate, Jorge Blacio, plus the help of ten comrades, among them musicians, crystallized the project devised in adolescence.
“I am a programmer since I was 14 years old”, says this entrepreneur, who a few days ago received from the Municipality a recognition agreement for the achievement achieved with To leave.
The game was developed in the room of Estéfano and in the classrooms of the Espol, in days of more than twelve hours, with breaks in sleeping bags, both in the home of the entrepreneur and in the academic center. This is corroborated by Ljubica Topic, mother of Estéfano. She is a descendant of Croats.
The game, in essential description, tells the story of Harm, a teenager who goes around the world harvesting souls. “The child uses an old technology, from his world, to capture all the souls and send them to heaven,” says Estefano, and argues that To leave was born based on “that feeling that sometimes we want to abandon everything.”
The game is available on the PS4 page. On April 24, it was launched at a cost of $ 20, but the price dropped to $ 10, not because of lack of acceptance but to make it accessible to more users, says Estefano, who has developed other games. One was The World of Mathematics.
On October 3, To leave will be available for computers. “The aspiration of Freaky Creations is to make games that speak of the reality of the human condition, without removing that obviously must be entertained,” says the student of Computational Sciences, who will follow a master’s degree in the USA.
