Facebook Introduces Functions to Rank Information

The social network site Facebook presented several functions to facilitate the information received in the page while offering a mechanism of ranking to those that does not log in everyday.

If the user logs in after several days of absence he/she will see in his/her “wall” the most important publications of his friends. Keith Schacht, a manager of Facebook explained that “with time, Facebook will know what’s the most important thing for every single user.”

The new innovations were presented last Tuesday. In an annual meeting that will be made next Thursday the site could announce the breakthrough advances in the company. (AV)
