Fallujah Celebrates the Exit of American Troops in Iraq

Today, December 14, the inhabitants’ of the Iraqi city of Fallujah celebrated the impending exit of the United States troops. The process must be completed until the end of the year.
The celebration was called the “First Annual Festival to Celebrate the Role of the Resistance.” During the festivity many people installed several flags and boards that read “Fallujah, bastion of the resistance,” “the resistance started here” or “Now we are free.”
With the protection of the Iraqi army allow the participants of the celebration to install portraits of insurgents with their faces covered while wielding their weapons and also displayed images of dead American soldiers. (AV)
