Father of murdered girl is arrested as the prime suspect
Gary Enrique, parent of a girl of 12 years that appeared strangled on 4 April in the Calvario-Carmen of the Guzho (Azuay), was arrested for being considered the main suspect in the murder.
The alleged killer, claimed that he hadn’t seen her daughter in the past 4 years, because he had problems with the mother of the girl, due to an urgency ballot against him for owing approximately $3,700 for maintenance.
The Ministry of the Interior made its hypothesis public through a newsletter, even though the prosecution of Azuay has preferred not to pronounce because the case is still under preliminary investigation.
“Maritza del Cisne, neighbor of the victim, said to have seen the father of the child outside her home, close to where the victim would have disappeared,” the document indicates.
