Fausto Valdiviezo, the voice of the community silenced
The journalist Fausto Guido Valdiviezo Moscoso, born in 1959, was soon to be 53 years. He worked in television as a reporter and presenter, always focusing on the area and community news.
During the eighties he ventured into the small screen. Ecuavisa, SíTV, RTS and TC Television, were the channels in which he worked to address the problems of the people. While at TC Television, he represented the workers when the channel was seized by the state. On several occasions he worked at radio stations with talk shows, community problem reports and news.
In April 2013, Valdiviezo joined Teleamazonas planned as host of ‘You know, I do not know‘. “It would be strange to see me in the center of town, on the beach, shopping malls, and nearby Duran,” said the late journalist, who was a soccer fan and supporter of Emelec, loved the beach, rock, driving classic cars and motorcycles.
The passion that characterized him were the daily events, a regular follower of social networks and also dabbled in Internet with an online channel.
Valdiviezo said he was returning to stay on TV to debut in a program. “… And I speak on television in general. I have a contract for 63 programs that I know will succeed as expected by the channel. I know that success comes and I’ll be there,” he said about his return to television.
